QUINIESHA and QUINIECE MILTON - 15 and 11 yo - Phoenix AZ
Phoenix AZ ---- Phoenix police asked for the public's help Friday to
find two young sisters reported missing by the mother.
Quiniesha Tatiyana Milton, 15, and her sister, Quiniece Tayan Milton,
11, were last seen Thursday morning when they left for school in Tempe,
police said. They may have taken their school bus or a city bus.
The girls did not return home from school Thursday and were reported
missing by their mother just before 1 a.m. Friday. Police were unable to
determine if the girls had attended school on Thursday because schools
were closed Friday.
The girls have not answered their cell phones and it is unknown if they
are together, police said.
Quiniesha was described as a black female, 5-feet-5 inches tall,
weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair with blonde
highlights. She normally wears a ponytail.
Quiniece was described as black, 5-feet-1, 90 pounds with brown eyes and
black shoulder-length hair with blonde highlights on her bangs.
Police said the 15-year-old had a runaway report in February, but the
11-year-old has not run away before.
Anyone with information about the girls was asked to call Crime Stop at
(602) 262-151, Missing Persons at (602) 534-2121 or Silent Witness at
480-WITNESS.

PHOENIX -- Phoenix
police are no longer looking for an 11-year-old girl who has been
missing since Thursday. She returned home late Friday afternoon after
being at a friend's house.
According to Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department, the
girls' mother called the police just before 1 a.m. Friday. She said her
two daughters, Quiniesha Tatiyana Milton, 15, and Quiniece Tayan Milton,
11, left for school at about 7:30 Thursday morning, but she had not
seen or heard from them since.
The 15-year-old reportedly returned home safe on Friday afternoon and
said she had been at a friend's house.
According to the mother, the girls might have caught either a city
bus or their school bus near their home in the area of 48th Street and
Southern Avenue.
Crump said police do not know if the girls were together, but neither
was answering her cell phone. It's also not clear yet if the girls
actually went to school on Thursday since the mother called police in
the middle night and the school is now closed for the holiday weekend.
Police said Quiniesha, the older girl, has run away from home before
-- once, a little more than a month ago -- but Quiniece has not run away
before.
Quiniece (above right) is described as black female, 5 feet 1 inch
tall, 90 pounds with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair. Quiniece
also has blonde highlights on her bangs and she also normally wears her
hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing blue-and-white striped
jeans, a multi-colored shirt and pink shoes. She was carrying a red
backpack.
If you know anything about Quiniece, please call the Phoenix Police
Missing Persons Unit at 602-534-2121 or Crime Stop at 602-262-6151. If
you wish to remain anonymous, call SILENT WITNESS at 480-WITNESS or
480-TESTIGO for Spanish.
