JAZLYN PINKERMAN -16 yo -and her step-mother BETH - Rossville (E of Lafayette) IN

Rossville IN ---- Clinton County authorities are looking for a missing
16-year-old Rossville girl and her stepmother.
Authorities believe teenager Jazlyn Pinkerman and 40-year-old Beth
Pinkerman left together sometime between April 12 and April 14, said
Detective Curt Catron of the Clinton County Sheriff's Department.


Family members have not
had any known contact with them since April 12, when 20-year-old Cody
Pinkerman, Jazlyn's brother, spoke with the teenager on the phone.Beth Pinkerman was
separated from husband Michael Pinkerman, Jazlyn's father, when the two
disappeared, Catron said. Beth Pinkerman and her stepdaughter lived
together in a house that was found vacant on April 14.Police do not believe Beth Pinkerman or her
stepdaughter are in danger, Catron said. However, Jazlyn has not been at
school since she was reported missing by her father last week, and
authorities have no leads as to her or Beth Pinkerman's location."We're
hoping somebody will call us with some information" as to the pair's
whereabouts, Catron said. "I'm not sure what more we can do."Jazlyn
is described as white, 5-foot-2, 110 pounds. She has brown hair and
brown eyes.Beth Pinkerman is white, 5-foot-7, 200 pounds.
She has red hair, green eyes and tattoos on both forearms.

Jazlyn and Cody Pinkerman are my cousins. There dad Michael Pinkerman abandoned Beth, Cody and Jazye in a tent last year in June after there Trailor was getting molded and it made Beth extremely ill in the hospital. If Beth was a kidnapper than why didn't Michael call over almost a year ago to get Jazlyn ? Why does he want her now ? The way this is leading is horrible and wrong!

What do you think happened? You ask a very good question, why does he want the children now? Was he an abusive type of guy, is it possible he threatened Beth in some manner and she went into hiding?

I think her family knows more then they are telling police. my mom lives right next to them. they borrow a suitcase from a guy across the way said they were going away for awhile. my mom seen a note on their door saying that they went up north for a doctors appt and would return at 10pm and they never came back the next morning their place was ransacked by someone. I think someone knows where they are and ain't saying anything to the police. also a couple days before this there were people moving furniture out of their place. they told my mom they were getting new stuff. then they go missing. hmm something fishy going on. someone knows where they are. maybe not saying anything because they don't want her dad knowing where they are? someone needs to speak up and tell the police the truth on their where abouts. also if i am not mistaken if their is someone who knows where they are at can't they get into trouble with the police for not saying anything?

Aud your question is a good one. It is all based on "legal custody". Who has custody of Jazlyn? If it is not her Dad, I would be surprised. However, Maybe Beth and Jazlyn formed a special bond and decided to run off together. Nonetheless, both Beth and any person aiding and abetting her could be charged with a variety of violations.

Well Mike was always mean to Beth and the kids. He would get mad at the littlest things, rude comments and never really anything ever nice. Beth has been raising Jazye for a really long time. Mike I haven't seen in over a year. I couldn't really tell you how he acts. I don't know i haven't talked or seen Beth nor Jazye in two weeks. And us family does not know anything else that we are telling the detectives. So please do not say that. But in there situation it's ridiculous. Beth sees Jazye as her own daughter she really does and Jazye thinks Beth as her mom because her mom left her forever ago. Beth has always been there for Jazye and Cody. She took care of them when Mike abandoned them last year in June at a campground that they were living at until they came and lived here until school was about to start. I love Beth and Jazye and i hope that they are safe and atleast doing well. I've been praying for them. And I hope that all of you would please pray for them to and close family and friends that feel the same way.

Beth might not be a good person for jazlyn to be around either though. my mom's b/f came home from work one evening and seen Jazlyn and 2 other underage kids drinking on the porch. Jazlyn hardly ever went to school either. when i was living with my mom most days Jazlyn was outside talking to a couple i knew that lived across from her. also there was a guy that lived across from us that is 32 and Beth was asking him one day when we were all out side when was he going to ask Jazlyn on a date? she'd be in sweat pants and as soon as she seen the guy she'd go in and change into shorts (that if she bent over you would probably see her butt) and a really skimpy shirt. maybe she got pregnant and they took her to get an abortion up north and doesn't want anyone knowing. she would always have guys over. Beth also was selling the "unknown" guy pills. also seen that with my own eyes.The unknown guy which i won't say his name is a really good friend of mine. so not sure if Beth is a great role model for Jazlyn. instead of a mother daughter relationship it kinda seemed to me it was more of a friend relationship. Welcome AUD and Samantha. It sounds like there were a few other unsavory characters hanging around and maybe they have got involved in something they couldn't handle and have done a runner. I hope so. It does seem odd that the father has reported them missing when you say he abandoned them ages ago. I hope Jazlyn is safe.

Well, I know Cody, Jazze and Beth. My daughter was really good friends with Jazze until she caused our family some problems. Beth is very manipulative and has brain washed Jazze and used Cody. Beth left their appartment filthy and abandon two dogs. She had Codys name put on the lease and had all the utilities put in his name. Guess who has to pay for all this, a very young and trusting step son who is now talking to his dad and whos dad is helping him out. BETH IS NOT A VICTIM SHE IS A MANIPULATOR THAT PRAYS ON YOUNG KIDS!

umm jazlynn is my cousin and beth is not a manipulater thank you very much so unless you know her like we do don't talk crap about her. Beth is a way better person to jazlyn and cody they were all very close so you need to stop unless you know the whole story. ddpa i would like you to stop talking about Beth that way and Jazelyn it is not your place.

I'm sure Jazye is perfectly safe. Beth is a great woman and i'm pretty sure that that is probably someone talking crap like usual because first off it was Lauren and Cody who started crap with them ( Jazye & Beth) that made them run most likely. Jazye hates her dad, because he is so mean to her. Beth I don't believe would sell pills. She is a wonderful lady. Jazye for drinking she probably went behind Beth's back like every young kid does. It's called Rebelion and Adoloesence, that every teenager does. & if it wasn't for Beth a year ago who got Cody and Jazye back to there feet from when there DAD MICHAEL left them in a tent to go do whatever he pleased. Cody isn't getting help from Mike with paying off the apartment he is getting revenge because he and Beth got into an arguement or maybe Beth and Lauren did will never know because we haven't heard Beth or Jazye's side of the story it's only there word against there word for now!

I would like to know why you are getting so defensive? The point is Beth has no legal right whether you like it or not. I don't think you know the whole story either only what Beth tells you. The fact is if Mike is so mean why didn't she just press charges why run. Maybe she isnt so innocent, maybe she has something to hide? Hope she gets caught!

she has nothing to hide she might not have lagal rights but you no what shes done everything in her power to help mikes kids so exactly stop and yes i will try to shine light but not whe people who think they no her post this stuff its not right

I don't care what anyone has to say if you really know Beth than you know that she has her own days. Everyone does. & as for Jazye the same. They are going through alot. Alot for them both to handle. I will agree that Beth tried to live Jazye's life for her but that is because she cares and loves for Jazye. Beth has no real biological kids of her own. Beth has raised Jazye and that is her daughter. And for someone on here to be so crude and say that you hope she gets caught well if you know what she is hiding than why don't you tell? I really do not like naive people. And Jazye is not pregnant at all and it doesn't take 2 weeks too get an abortion. now you guys are all just acting immature and stupid.

There seems to be wide discrepancies in these stories about Beth.

Beth did sell pills to a friend of mine. i was outside taking to the guy when Beth came out. Me and the guy were talking about how the doctor won't give him anymore pills.Beth spoke up and said asked the guy what kind they were. he he told her and she said she has someone if he wanted to buy them from her. he went to his apartment came back with an undisclosed amount of cash and handed it to her and she handed him the pills right in front of me. There's a lot people don't know about someone, so maybe none of you knew or it was the first time she did it.in the drinking case Beth was actually home when they were doing it. Does beth even have custody of Jazye? I know in a lot of cases if someone takes off with a child that they don't have custody of, the person can get jail time. and Jazye is also suppose to be in school, which they don't believe she has returned to any school. which i know if a kid misses to much or isn't in school at all. CPS gets involved. i wonder if Beth ever thought before she ran with jazye. that there might be a possibility that she might lose jazye all together if they find her? i don't see how they could run and not be in contact with anyone at all. has anyone tried to call them on their cell phones? hopefully they find them.
