DESTINY LLAGUNO - 15 yo - Chicago/North side IL
A 15-year-old girl who police said is bi-polar was last seen near a North
Side hospital and has been missing for more than 24 hours.
Destiny Llaguno is missing from the 3700 block of North Mozart Avenue
and was last in contact when she called her family on her cell phone
about 1:30 p.m. Monday to say she was on her way home from Advocate
Illinois Masonic Medical Center, 836 N. Wellington Ave., according to a
police release.
Llaguno is bi-polar and experiences manic depression, and she takes
medication for both conditions, police said.
She is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 140 pounds with
black hair and brown eyes. She usually has her hair in braids or a bun,
and had a black and white headband, police said.
She was last seen wearing a gray dress blouse with buttons on the
sleeve, black dress pants with thin pink stripes and black dress shoes.
She might be carrying a shoulder bag.
Sometimes Llaguno frequents a library on the 3000 block of West
Fullerton Avenue and her school on the 2900 block of North Kedzie
Avenue, police said.

Police have issued a second missing-person alert asking for the
public’s help to locate a 15-year-old girl who suffers from manic
depression and who initially went missing Monday, May 24 from the Irving
Park neighborhood.

said. She has not been taking her medication and is becoming
increasingly violent and may be a danger to herself.
Although she was last seen by her father Saturday with cuts on
her arms in a house in the 3200 block of West Diversey Parkway, she
remains missing, according to a police News Affairs release issued early
Tuesday.
She was last seen wearing a green top, green spandex shorts under
a blue jean short and black shoes, according to the release.
Llaguno is described as a 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 140-pound
