Murfreesboro TN ---- Murfreesboro police have
arrested a mother after police said she did not report her child was
raped.
Rose Clark is charged with failure to protect. Eric Massengill, 23, was
arrested last week and charged with child rape of Clark's daughter.According
to the police report, Clark's 5-year-old girl told her mother about the
abuse, but Clark is accused of taking the side of the attacker. During an interview with
detectives, Massengill admitted to oral sex with the girl on at least 24
occasions.
