CATHERYN ELIZABETH FORD - 15 yo - Hendersonville (S of Asheville) NC

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office is seeking any information
regarding the whereabouts of Catheryn Elizabeth Ford, 15.




Ford was reported missing Tuesday at about 10:15 p.m. She voluntarily
left her residence and was last seen at an Exxon convenience store on
Highway 191 in Henderson County, according to Capt. Jerry Rice of the
Henderson County Sheriff's Office. Ford may have left the
convenience store in what was described as a black GMC Yukon SUV driven
by a white male, Rice said. Ford is described as a black female
standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. She has
straight black hair and brown eyes. Ford wears contact lenses that
change her eye color from brown to green. At the time of her
departure from her residence, she was dressed in dark-colored skinny
type jeans, a brown shirt, a black-colored jacket and tennis-style
shoes, Rice said. Ford was also carrying a black purse decorated with
rhinestones. Current information suggests she may be headed for
Atlanta or Ohio, where she had lived in the past. It is believed that
Ford may attempt to alter her appearance or use a different name in
order to avoid detection, Rice said. Anyone with information is

Ford
voluntarily left her residence and was last seen at an Exxon convenience store on
Highway 191 in Henderson County.On Thursday afternoon, the Henderson County
sheriff announced that Catheryn
Elizabeth Ford has been located by the Volusia County Florida
Sheriff’s Office and appears uninjured and in good condition. Ford is
currently with the Volusia County Juvenile Services until arrangements
can be made for her return home.
Sheriff Rick Davis credits the
timely release of information by media outlets and
citizen tips that generated leads our Detectives were able to follow up
on and locate Ford.
