Authorities in North Florida are looking for a missing 1-year-old girl.
An Amber Alert was issued early Wednesday for Nevaeh Tucker, of Tallahassee:

• Black female
  
• Age: 1
  
• Height: 2 feet
  
• Weight: 21 lbs.
  
• Hair: Black
  
• Eyes: Brown
  

Nevaeh was last seen wearing a yellow onesie, and has a circular birthmark on the right leg.
Police said she may be with Herley Davis III:

• Black male
  
• Age: 22
  
• Height: 5 feet, 7 inches
  
• Weight: 165 lbs.
  
• Hair: Black
  
• Eyes: Brown
  

Authorities said Davis has a tattoo with the name “Herley” on the left side of his chest.
Police said the two may be traveling in a 2000 silver Oldsmobile Alero, with tag number X630PN.

Amber Alert for Tallahassee Toddler Canceled, Man Arrested in Lake City

A statewide Amber Alert has been canceled for a 14-month-old from Tallahassee and the man police said took the child has been arrested.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an endangered Amber Alert for Nevaeh Tucker early today.

The Lake City Police Department said it began with a domestic incident around 1:30 a.m. in Tallahassee, after which Herley Davis took the child.

The Amber Alert went out, and around 8:15 this morning, a citizen saw Davis and the child at the Cracker Barrel in Lake City.

The child is reportedly in good condition

A Lake City Cracker Barrel employee said she was saw the Amber Alert on TV while she was getting ready for work.
Then, around 8 a.m. she recognized 1-year-old Naveah Tucker and the mom's boyfriend, Herley Davis, 22, in the restaurant.
She said they appeared normal but he kept looking over his shoulder
The employee, who prefers to remain anonymous, notified her manager, who called the Lake City Police Department.

Just 10 hours after an Amber Alert was issued, 1-year-old Naveah Tucker was reunited with her mom and grandma.
It happened right in the Cracker Barrel parking lot.
"Happy right now," said Shantracia Tucker, just after seeing her daughter. "Happy that she's back."
Little Naveah is safe thanks to a Cracker Barrel employee who spotted the man and child eating breakfast.
She kept a close eye on them until police arrived.
"[She then] direct them to the
suspect as well as the child, as they were appearing to leave," said
Sergeant John Blanchard, of the Lake City Police Department. "And it was
on their own they'd finished their breakfast. And without incident, he
was taken into custody."
Davis was taken to the Lake City Police Department, where he was interviewed by TPD investigators.
And a child advocate cared for Naveah.
"[She] appears to be pristine,"
said Blanchard. "It appeared he was caring for her, obviously. Feeding
for the child. And again, i don't think the child was bothered in any
way."
Cracker Barrel customers say it's remarkable how one woman's vigilance saved the day.
"Most people, they don't notice
that much," said customer Mildred Heithus, of Bradford. "They're too
busy with their own lives. And they don't notice what's going on around
them."
"Most people come into work
expecting 'oh you know, it's going to be a regular day,'" said Samantha
McKinney, 16, of Live Oak. "Well, she came in looking for something, I
guess. And actually didn't just stand there and expect a paycheck"

She said she doesn't need recognition for what she did.

Herley Davis' mental health hearing has been postponed.
The judge in the case asked Davis' attorney if his client had a history of mental illness. His attorney said no, but she believes he does suffer from mental issues, and that's when the attorney asked to reschedule the hearing.
Police say on the night of August 18th, Herley Davis, 22, got in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in Tallahassee. That's when Davis snatched Shantracia Tucker's one year old daughter, Naveah, and took off with the child in Tucker's car. An Amber Alert was issued and police caught up with Davis at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Lake City the next morning.
A quick thinking restaurant employee had seen the two and called 911.
The judge rescheduled Davis' mental health hearing for October 26th.
