Authorities are looking for a missing teen who they believe may be headed to Maury County.

Kiona Desiree Fitzpatrick ran away from a state home in Nashville Sept. 3., her mother Shauonda Polk said.

Police said she may be traveling with a friend. They say she is in danger.
Polk said she is worried about her daughter. She is afraid for her safety and hopes someone will see Fitzpatrick and call authorities.

“I haven’t seen her in three months,” the mother said.
According to a release by the Metro Nashville Police Department, Fitzpatrick jumped from a window of the house she was living in and was seen leaving in a late ’60s Chevrolet Caprice with silver rims. She is 16 years-old, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She was seen wearing a pink polo, pink and brown shorts and pink flip flops.

Her mother said Fitzpatrick formerly attended Mt. Pleasant High School where she was in the 10th grade. Polk said Fitzpatrick may be with another girl named Amy. Polk did not know Amy’s last name.

The 16-year-old may be with a friend named Amy, the woman said.Police said the teen jumped from a window of the house she was living in and was seen in a late '60s Chevy Caprice with silver rims.
