JACOB ROBERT TAYLOR - 13 yo - Columbia MO

Police are looking for a 13-year-old Columbia boy.Jacob Robert Taylor is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

He has short brown hair, brown eyes and braces on his teeth, said Jill Wieneke, public information officer for the Columbia Police Department. It is not known what Jacob was wearing at the time of his disappearance, she said.Jacob was last seen by family around 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home in south Columbia, Wieneke said. He is believed to have run away and may be capable of harming himself, Wieneke said.Columbia Police urged anyone who has seen or spoken with Jacob, or has additional information regarding his disappearance, to call 911 immediately.

Police located a missing Columbia boy Wednesday afternoon, a day after he was reported missing. At about 12:30 p.m. a tipster called police and reported seeing Jacob Taylor, 13, walking along I-70 between the I-70/US-63 Connector and the Lake of the Woods exit. Police found Taylor walking alone on the shoulder of the road, a Columbia Police Department news release sated.Taylor was reported as a runaway Tuesday. A family member had last seen him at about 2 p.m. the same day.
