The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old Chantilly girl.
Jennifer K. Sanford was last seen on Dec. 2 when she left her home on Sandman Terrace to go to school, according to authorities.
Deputies believe she is possibly in the company of Nicky Liu, 20, of Berryville.
Liu drives a 2008 Gray Honda with Virginia tags KJX 4615.
Jennifer is described at 5-foot-4-inches tall, 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She also wears glasses.
Authorities ask anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Jennifer or Nicky Liu, to call Investigator W. Promisel of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-0475.

Missing teen may have come through Knoxville

According to authorities, Jennifer K. Sanford was last seen when she left for school on Dec. 2nd
of last year. Sanford reportedly stands 5'4", 135 lbs. with brown hair
and brown eyes and wears glasses.

Loudoun Co Sheriff's Office has issued a missing child alert for a 14
year-old from the Chantilly, Virginia area.

According to authorities, Jennifer K. Sanford was
last seen when she left for school on Dec. 2nd of last year. Sanford
reportedly stands 5'4", 135 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes and
wears glasses.

They believe she may be with 20 year-old Nicky Liu.
Liu, who hails from Berryville, Virginia, drives a 2008 gray Honda with
Virginia plates, KJX 4615.

Investigators say information they've found while working the case has led them to believe Sanford and
possibly Liu were in the Knoxville area sometime in the past few weeks.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Sanford or Liu is
asked to call Investigator W. Promisel of the Loudoun Co. Sheriff's

Update: Missing VA teen found in Knoxville


Late Friday night, investigators found a missing Virginia girl safe and sound in Knoxville.

According to KPD Lt. Tammy Chaney, 14-year-old Jennifer K. Sanford appeared to be in good health. Chaney said a follow-up evaluation will be made with the teen's parents' consent.

The Loudoun County, Virginia Sheriff's Office reported Sanford as missing after she was last seen on December 2, 2010 when she left her home in Chantilly, VA.

Investigators believed Sanford was in the company of Nicky Liu, a 20-year-old male from Berryville, VA.

Officials with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office tell 9NEWS NOW they located Jennifer Sanford in a motel in Knoxville.
She was reported missing on December 2 after she did not return home
from school. They believed she was with 20-year-old Ricky Liu from
Berryville, Va.
Jennifer was reunited with her parents. Liu was arrested and charged with a sexual offense. He is being held on $1 million bond.
Officials say there may be more charges. Federal authorities may also get involved.
