The defense is trying deperately to keep the remains of Caylee Anthony out of the trunk of the Pontiac Sunfire. If they cannot do this, it will show that George did not help in covering up Caylee’s death due to an accidental drowning. George, being a former police detective would never have left the remains in the trunk of a vehicle for two plus days.

Jose Baez did not tell us how George and/or Casey disposed of Caylee’s remains after she had drowned. He did imply that George applied the duct tape to Caylee’s airways. He left the rest up to the jury’s imagination. Somewhere, somehow, Roy Kronk got his hands on the remains and hid them. I wont even go into that as it is so ridiculous.

During the trial thus far, Baez has been trying to discredit all the expert witnesses along with the CSI to show the jury how incompetent they were in collecting evidence. He also tried to put the kabosh on Karen Lowe’s finding of the death band on the single hair found in the trunk. In all honesty, Baez may be making a bit of headway. Forensics are hard for some jurors to grasp while others may take a great interest in what is being explained.
