DANBURY -- State and local police were searching Saturday for 15-year-old city resident Tiffany L. Daeira, who authorities described as an "endangered runaway."

Lt. Brian Murphy with the Danbury Police Department said that while no foul play is suspected, local detectives were actively working the case.

Authorities said Daeira was last seen at Danbury High School on Friday at around 12:30 p.m. She was wearing blue jeans, a black North Face jacket, black Nike sneakers and a black North Face beanie and was carrying a blue and yellow backpack.

The teen is described as having brown eyes and brown hair, is about 5 feet tall and weights about 110 pounds.

Anyone who has seen Daeira or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Danbury Police Department at 203-797-4611.

TIFFANY DAEIRA WAS LOCATED SAFE

State Police have cancelled a missing child alert issued for a Danbury teen on Saturday. Police says the case involving 15-year old Tiffany Daeira has been resolved. When the Alert was issued, the teen had last been seen at Danbury High School Friday afternoon.

State Police say the teen was found unharmed, but did not provide further detail.
