TRAQUAN NeSMITH - 9 yo - Savannah GA

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing child from the Savannah area.

Police are searching for 9-year-old Traquan NeSmith. Traquan was
last seen by his guardian at 703 West 36th Street on July 19 at 2:30
p.m. Traquan was last seen at a friend’s house the same day in the
2200 block of Harden Street at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Traquan is a black male, 4ft, 7in, 90lbs, brown eyes with short
black hair. Traquan was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans
shorts and black shoes.

Traquan also goes by the name of Trey. Traquan is known to frequent
the 700 block of West 36th Street, 2200 block of Harden, Kayton Homes
and the area of 40th and Ogeechee Road.

At the present time, police are searching all locations where Traquan is known to frequent.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Traquan NeSmith is asked to call 911 immediately.

"The child is fine," listed a message on Twitter from the Savannah
Chatham Metropolitan Police Department about a 9-year-old Savannah boy
who was reported missing Sunday.

The boy, Traquan NeSmith, was
last seen at 8:30 Sunday night playing at a friend's house in the 2200
block of Harden Street on Savannah's westside.

Metro Police sent an alert to the local media this morning asking for help in locating the child.

Overnight and into the morning, police were searching various places for NeSmith, who also goes by his nickname, "Trey."

The last time NeSmith's guardian reported seeing him was Sunday afternoon around 2:30 at 703 W. 36th Street.
SCMPD sent a message on Twitter that more information will be released soon.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police tells News 3 a
Savannah 9 year old who went missing yesterday was located this morning
unharmed. SCMPD says the child was found sitting on the back porch of a
home in the 2200 block of Bulloch Avenue.
Traquan Smith was reported missing last night last seen at a friend’s
house in the 2200 block of Harden Street, just a block from where he
was found this morning.
