The Loudoun County
Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a
missing teenager from the Town of Purcellville.
Erlinda Martinez, 14, has been missing since July 17. There was no indication
of trouble before she left home, and she is believed to be in the
Sterling or Herndon area, where she has been reportedly seen in the
area of Briar Patch Park.
While it appears that she left her home of her own accord, “Due to
her age and the fact that she has been missing for two weeks give us
cause for concern,” said LCSO spokesman Kraig Troxell. “We are hoping
someone has seen her, or that whoever she is staying with may not know
that she is missing from home.”
Erlinda is described as a Hispanic female, 5’4” tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to
contact Investigator A. Harper of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office
Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475, or by calling the
Sheriff’s Office 24-hour-non-emergency-line at 703-777-1021.

Thank you for your interest. The missing Purcellville teen was located on
August 6th safe and sound in Sterling.

Martinez, 14, left her residence Monday, Sept. 7. She has ties to the
Sterling and Herndon areas. She is described as a Hispanic female, 5'4"
tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
