Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman and her baby who have gone missing from their Randwick home. Tammy Williams recently gave birth to the child at home without medical assistance sometime last week and her family are concerned that the baby may need assistance. About 6pm Friday (29 October), police from Eastern Beaches Local Area Command attended a home in Howard Street, Randwick, after information was received that a resident of the home had given birth to a baby girl without medical assistance. Police went to Ms Williams home on Howard Street, Randwick last Friday and found it empty, prompting concerns for both Tammy Williams, 29 and her baby . Extensive inquiries have been unable to locate Williams or the child. She and the baby are believed to have been without medical assistance since the birth. It is believed Williams may also be in the company of her partner Klmiora Hanham, 29, who also cannot be located. Williams is described as being of Maori/Pacific Islander appearance, 170-175cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. A Sydney woman has gone missing only days after she gave birth at her Randwick home without medical assistance.

Police said they hold grave concerns about Tammy Williams, who they believe gave birth to a girl sometime in the past week.

Officers went to the 29-year-old's home on Friday evening following a tip-off after about the birth from a member of the public but found the Howard Street address empty.

Police have not been able to locate Ms Williams, her partner or the child since. It is believed the woman and the child have been without medical assistance since birth.

Infant and Tammy Williams: FOUND safe and well

A 29-year-old woman who vanished after giving birth without medical help has turned up safe and well with her baby, police say.

Tammy Williams attended Maroubra Police Station, in Sydney's east, about 4.15pm (AEDT) on Wednesday with her newborn daughter, almost a week after they disappeared.

The pair have been medically examined and are believed to be in good health.
