May 5, 2011 - The Rainy River District OPP is requesting public assistance in locating a missing female teen.
Police were advised of the report on Tuesday around 6:30 p.m. and are continuing their investigation.

Tia Medicine, 15, of Young Star House, is described as a First Nations’ female, standing 5’8” tall and weighing 160-180 pounds.
She has black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes, and was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
Medicine left her residence at Young Star House on Tuesday and attended school in Fort Frances.
After school, she boarded the bus back to Young Star House but failed to return to the residence.
Police confirmed she later was walking on Highway 11 with two unidentified females.
Anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
