Chief Judge Belvin Perry adjourned court early today without giving an explanation.

"By joint stipulation, we are in recess until 9 a.m." Tuesday, Perry said at about 11 a.m.

The sudden decision to recess could have stemmed from Perry's earlier frustrations or the defense team's difficultly getting witnesses to court.
