"Newborn John" QUADROS - 3 Weeks - Lawrence MA
A horrific case of child abuse in Lawrence, where a father is charged with brutally beating his newborn child. Emmanuel Quadros, 32, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Wednesday.
Police say the injuries to the 3-week-old baby boy are so severe, the child is now blind and will likely be wheelchair-bound.
Police say Quadros originally blamed his wife for the baby's injuries, but later confessed to dropping the child on the ground.
The incident remains under investigation.
