PORT ORANGE - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child alert for a five-year-old Volusia County boy.

Elijah Holbin-Hudson was last seen in Port Orange, on Florida's east coast, on Tuesday.


Investigators think he may be in the company
of Laurine Arnold and traveling in a black Plymouth Duster,
tag number AJV-N60.

Port Orange police believe a Spring Hill
woman took her 5-year-old grandson from his aunt's home Tuesday and the
Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert.Elijah
Holbin-Hudson disappeared from a home on Sunset Cove Drive where he was
staying as part of a relative placement by Michigan authorities, Port
Orange police Capt. Frank Surmaczewicz said.
The boy is believed to be with his maternal grandmother, Laurine Sue Arnold, 49, of Spring Hill, Surmaczewicz said.

The boy's aunt called police Monday after Arnold showed up
to visit with him. Investigators have not determined why Arnold is not
supposed to have contact with her grandson, Surmaczewicz said.
The woman may have entered the home through an unlocked door Tuesday,
Surmaczewicz said. A neighbor reported seeing a car in the area that
matched the description of Arnold's black Plymouth Duster.

The Florida license plate on the car is AJV N60.
An Amber Alert was not issued because there is no direct evidence showing
an abduction and/or kidnapping occurred, Surmaczewicz said.
No other details about the case have been released.

Missing Port Orange Boy Found At Temple

ALACHUA, Fla. -- A missing Volusia County boy has been found, authorities said Thursday. Elijah Holbin-Hudson, 5, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Port Orange. His aunt reported him missing around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.Investigators said they believed that Elijah is with his maternal grandmother, Laurine Sue Arnold, 49. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Thursday the pair was found at a Hare Krishna Temple in Alachua.The 5-year-old will be placed in DCF custody. Arnold was taken to the Alachua County Jail.
