ESCONDIDO ---- Police are asking for the public's help to find a
13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy who reportedly ran away over the weekend.

Isabel Garcia, 13, and her boyfriend, Roberto Olea Estevez, 14,
were last seen Sunday afternoon near the Regal Cinemas at 350 W.
Valley Parkway, according to an Escondido Police Department statement.

Authorities have exhausted all leads in the case, the statement said.

Isabel was described as Latino, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds
with shoulder-length, black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a
pink hooded sweatshirt, blue skinny jeans and gold-colored earrings with small stones.

Roberto was described as Latino, 5 feet tall, 140 pounds with
short, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a T-shirt, jeans and purple Vans shoes.

Teen runaways sought in Escondido

ESCONDIDO — Escondido police are
asking the public to help them find a 13-year-old girl and her
14-year-old boyfriend who apparently ran away together on Sunday.

The runaways, Isabel Garcia and Roberto Olea Estevez, were last seen
outside the transit center on West Valley Parkway near North Quince
Street about 6 p.m., police said.

The two also had been seen outside Regal Cinemas on West Valley
Parkway about 4 p.m. Their families reported them missing later that
evening, police Lt. Craig Carter said.


Carter said police consider the teenagers, who have been dating
for two years, at risk “only because of their ages.”

Officers have searched the theater and transit center, and other
places on Sunday and Monday and contacted other family members and
friends, Carter said.

Isabel is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds, with
shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a pink
hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and gold-toned earrings with small stones.
Roberto is 5 feet tall, 140 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes,
and last seen wearing a T-shirt, blue jeans and purple Vans shoes.


Police asked that anyone with information about Isabel or Roberto

ESCONDIDO: Two missing teens found safe

ESCONDIDO ---- Two missing Escondido teens were returned safely
to their families Tuesday, according to the Escondido Police
Department.

Isabel Garcia, 13, and her boyfriend, Roberto Olea Estevez, 14,
were found safe in Oceanside, said Lt. Craig Carter. The two had
been missing since Sunday, when they were last seen near the Regal
Cinemas at 350 W. Valley Parkway in Escondido, police said.
