WEST WHITELAND TWP., Pa. - March 16, 2012 (WPVI) --
Police in Chester County are asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenager.


The West Whiteland Township Police Department said 17-year-old Brittany Stanley has been missing since February 20th.
She is believed to be in the Philadelphia area.
Stanley is described as 5'2" tall and 180 pounds. She has brown eyes
and brown hair with a tattoo of cherries, in black ink, on her left arm.
Police said she may be going by the name of "Lily."

Missing girl, 17, feared in trouble




Police are searching for Brittany Stanley.
West Whiteland Township Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing 17-year-old girl.

Police said Brittany Stanley was last seen on Feb. 20 and is believed to be in Philadelphia, where she may be using the name “Lily.” Detectives said they were able to track a couple of phone calls she made to a crime-ridden area of North Philadelphia. They said trauma she suffered as a child “may make her vulnerable to poor judgement.” They said the teen’s mother is extremely concerned that the girl may be living on the street and engaging in dangerous behavior.

The teen, who recently moved to West Whiteland Township from the Bethlehem area, is described as 5-foot-2, about 180 pounds, with brown eyes, short brown hair and a black tattoo of cherries on her left arm.
