A 17-year-old girl who disappeared two weeks ago is probably in Temecula, her mother said Wednesday.
Loriann Merrill-Perkins disappeared from her school, Los Alamitos
High School, about two weeks ago. She was dropped off in Temecula
shortly afterwards and is probably still in the area, according to the
teen's mother, Brenda Hall.


"I've been looking all over. I searched Facebook and called everybody
we know," she said. "We can't find her anyplace she'd normally be."


Loriann lives with her 30-year-old sister in Los Alamitos because
she's had trouble at the schools in Temecula, according to relatives.


The girl had no clothing with her and has severe asthma and no medication with her, Hall said.


Loriann ran away many times, but her mother usually makes a few calls
and and she or the police track her down. This time it's different.


"Nobody has any idea who she's staying with here," she said.


Loriann was last seen with a friend, known as Katy, who is from the
Buena Park area. She has light blond, straight, shoulder-length hair,
stands about 5-foot-5 and weighs around 110 pounds.
