SHENIQUA PEEBLES - 15 yo - Woodleaf/ Winston-Salem NC

Saturday afternoon the Rowan County Sheriff's Office issued missing
child alert for 15 year-old Sheniqua Victoria Nicole Peebles.
Deputies investigating the case said Sheniqua was last seen on April
9, 2012 on NC Highway 801 in Woodleaf. Someone told the sheriff's
department they saw the teenager getting into a blue Lincoln Town Car at
the end of her driveway.

According to her mother,, Sheniqua was periodically sending her text
messages, but the mom said she hasn't received one since April 21.

Deputies said they believe the teenager may be in the Winston-Salem area now, or was in the area after she went missing.

Sheniqua is described as 5'4", 120lbs and has brown eyes and black hair.

A missing teenage girl from Rowan County is on her way home a month to the day she’d last been seen.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help
last week to find Sheniqua Victoria Nicole Peebles, 15. Authorities said
she’d last been seen on April 9 getting into a light blue Lincoln
Towncar at the end of her driveway in Woodleaf. She periodically sent
text messages to her mother until April 21 but had not been heard from
since then, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators had said they believed she may have been in the Winston-Salem area.

On Wednesday afternoon, authorities announced that Peebles had been found and was on her way home.
