CASEY LASURE - 16 yo - New Martinsville WV

NEW MARTINSVILLE -- The Wetzel County Sheriff's Department is searching for a missing girl. Casey Lasure, 16, went missing Friday night around 10:00, according to Wetzel County Sheriff James Hoskins.

Lasure's described as a white female, 5'2, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen at her home on Doolin Run road in New Martinsville. If you have any information on the case call the Wetzel County Sheriff's Department at 304-455-2430.

Person Of Interest Sought In Runaway Case

Authorities in Wetzel County are seeking a person of interest who may have information about a missing teen.Sheriff James Hoskins says his officers are looking for Chris Smith.They believe Smith might have information about 16-year-old Casey Lasure.She's considered a runaway from the New Martinsville area who was last seen on Friday.Smith is described as a male in his twenties, who may reside in the Shadyside, Ohio area.

Casey Lasure, 16, of New Martinsville has been missing since late Friday night or very early Saturday morning.She is assumed to have runaway from her home on Doolin Run in the middle of the night on Jan. 2.The
Wetzel County Sheriff's Department has named Chris Smith, 20, of the
Shadyside, Ohio, area to be a person of interest in the case.Sheriff
James Hoskins of the Wetzel County Sheriff's Department says, "We're
talking to other individuals as well. Officers from the West Virginia
State Police, and the New Martinsville and Paden City Police
Departments are all assisting in the search."Lasure is a white
female, 5-feet, 2-inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown

Lasure, 16, of New Martinsville was found safe in Shadyside Jan. 6. She had been missing since Jan. 1 when her parents reported she disappeared from her bedroom without a coat or her purse. Authorities aren't releasing details about Lasure's whereabouts over the past week or her how they located her.
