Police are looking for a missing 16-year-old Newport News boy.
According to police, sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. this
morning Jerrit Tryse Harms went missing from his home on 27th Street.
His foster father reported the boy missing and said he was last seen at
10 p.m.
Harms is 5-foot-10 in height and weighs about 150 pounds, and has not
had his required medication, police said. He has gray eyes, brown hair,
and wears an earring. He also has a tattoo of a spider web on his left
hand. There is a concern that he may do harm to himself, according to
police, who consider him endangered.
