Police are asking for the public’s help in looking for an endangered
16-year-old girl last seen with her stepfather.

Stuart is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with blue eyes and brown
hair. She was last seen wearing a sweatshirt, shorts and flip-flop
shoes, according to Jim Weaver of the Overland Park Police Department.The
teenager was last seen Thursday June 3 at 10:30 p.m. with her
39-year-old stepfather Patrick Neal Porter.

Porter is white, 5 feet, 8
inches tall and 210 pounds. They are driving a white 2003 Ford
Expedition with Kansas University Specialty License Plate 19450. The
license plate has a KU Jayhawk on the left side.Anyone with

Police found an Overland Park man and his missing stepdaughter this
afternoon in San Diego, California.Authorities had been looking
for Patrick Porter, who was charged Monday with attempting to coerce a
child to have sex and possessing child pornography.He was
traveling with his 16-year-old stepdaughter, Jordan McKenzie Stuart, who
was last seen Thursday evening with him.

The son of an Overland Park man told police that he believed his father
was abusing his stepsister and stepbrother, according to federal court
documents.The U.S. Attorney’s Office charged Patrick Porter on
Monday with one count of child pornography and one count of attempting
to coerce a minor to have sex with him.Porter and his
stepdaughter, 16-year-old Jordan McKenzie Stuart, were taken into
custody in the San Diego area Wednesday afternoon. Porter's vehicle had
been found earlier in the day in San Diego.The two had gone
missing earlier in the week and police had been searching for them.According
to court documents, the Overland Park Police Department found sexually
explicit pictures of Porter’s stepdaughter on his computer and digital
camera. Other child pornography was also found on Porter’s computer,
according to the complaint filed in federal court in Kansas City, Kan.Police
began investigating the 39-year-old Porter after his son came to them
on May 3 and reported his belief that his father was sexually abusing
his stepdaughter and stepson.The children are identified as “JS”
and “HS” in the court documents. “JS” is described as 16 years old. The
stepson's age is not given in the court documents.Porter’s son
said on May 1, he found pages of his stepbrother’s journal. Porter's son
said his stepbrother discussed in the journal drinking and having sex
with his sister as well as his stepfather, according to the court
documents.Porter’s son said he had also found sexually explicit
instant messages from “JS” to Porter, according to the documents. The
son said he confronted his father but that his father initially denied
any inappropriate relationship with his stepchildren, the documents say.According
to the court documents, police then contacted Porter, his wife,
Barbara, and the two stepchildren. All four denied any inappropriate
relationship, but the children were taken into police custody.The
stepchildren admitted to police that Porter had showed them pictures of
naked children and adults from the Internet, according to court
records.Police seized the stepdaughter's computer. A search was
conducted of the Porter home on June 3, according to court documents.
Police also seized Porter's digital camera and computers.

The wife of an Overland Park man arrested in California has been
charged with obstructing justice and other counts related to his case.Barbara
Porter, 44, also was charged in federal court Wednesday with harboring a
fugitive and aiding and abetting the interstate transportation of a
minor with intent to engage in sexual activities.Her husband,
Patrick Porter, 39, was arrested Wednesday. He was charged this week
with possessing child pornography and attempting to coerce a child to
have sex.According to court records, Barbara Porter helped her
husband leave and told police she didn’t know where he was.Investigators
learned from phone records that her husband called her repeatedly from
California.
