It is really hard to believe that this case will be transcending the 1 year mark in a couple of weeks. Another to join the Long Term cases files.

Someday someone will stumble upon a skeleton of Kyron. I pray it is sooner rather than later. I'm hoping when that happens there is enough evidence to arrest and convict someone.
His mother and father deserve to know what his step mother did to him.

Year Later, Desiree Young Still Points Finger At Terri Horman
Desiree Young: 'I Really Don't See (Terri Horman) Letting Him Live'
POSTED: 10:56 pm PDT May 31, 2011
UPDATED: 9:05 am PDT June 1, 2011PORTLAND, Ore. -- The
mother of Kyron Horman says in the weeks leading up to his
disappearance, life inside his home was falling apart and he was
becoming his stepmother’s target.Kyron vanished from Skyline
School almost one year ago. Investigators say he was last seen by his
stepmother, Terri Horman, at an early-morning science fair.Desiree
Young, Kyron’s mother, said she believes Terri Horman took Kyron from
the school and then set a plan in motion to get rid of him.“I
think that it was one of those things where everything worked out that
day, but if something had derailed her, I think she would have given up
what she was doing. But I think because everything fell in line, she
continued with her plan, her checklist,” Young said.Young and her
husband, Tony Young, live in Medford and before he went missing,
Kyron’s homebase was in Portland with his father, Kaine Horman, and
Terri Horman.Young said that Terri Horman blamed the boy for her troubles.“She
blamed Kyron for a lot of her and Kaine's marital problems. She blamed
Kyron for a lot of stuff that was going on in the house. It was becoming
very tense and it all came down to the weekend. It came down to that
day and she was very angry,” Young said.Large-scale ground and
aerial searches followed in the days after June 4. Local, state and
federal agents joined in the effort to find the boy, but never disclosed
whether they found any clues to Kyron’s whereabouts. The criminal investigation
has since been reshaped into a task force, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.
No one has been named a suspect or person of interest in the case, although the
investigation has focused on Terri Horman.Over the past year, Young has voiced her belief that Terri
Horman was involved in the disappearance and lied to investigators.Young said Terri Horman
told her something chilling after failing her first polygraph test.
“I was sitting in the recliner in the living room and she leaned over the
chair and said, 'I want you to know, I loved your son.’ And I flipped
out. I told Tony, ‘You better get me out of this house or I'm going to
kill her,” Young said.On June 28, Kaine Horman filed for divorce
and a restraining order against Terri Horman. Terri Horman has since
moved in with her parents in Roseburg.Young admits she drives
through Roseburg to keep an eye on Terri Horman, and has even held
candlelight vigils in front of the home.FOX 12 stopped by Terri Horman’s
parents' house in Roseburg but no one answered the door.Until
there is proof to the contrary, Young said she will always have hope
that Kyron is alive. But she is prepared for the worst.“I pray
every day that he comes home. I want him to walk through that door. I
want to hold him again. I want to make it all OK. But I think that
Terri, the way she felt and what she put in writing, I really don't see
her letting him live. I don't anymore,” Young said. Now, nearly a year later,
Young focuses on raising money for searches and keeping her son in the public’s eye.
She said she never thought she would go this long without an answer.“I
expected to get that phone call on the way up there that night. I
expected them to find him within minutes,” Young said. “Yeah, it makes
me angry and there are days I don't feel like I can make it without him.
But I have to because if I don't, who's going to?”

Task force looking for missing Ore. boy to disband
Published June 03, 2011
|PORTLAND, Ore. – A
task force that has conducted more than 3,500 interviews and invested
more than 26,650 hours investigating the disappearance of a 7-year-old
Oregon boy from his Portland area school one year ago is set to disband
at the end of the month.
A lead sheriff's detective
will continue to work full time on the Kyron Horman case, with help from
the FBI, Oregon Justice Department and county prosecutors, Multnomah
County Sheriff Dan Staton told The Oregonian newspaper.
"Obviously I'm disappointed we
haven't found him, we haven't made an arrest, but I'm not disappointed
with the progress of the investigation," he said. "There isn't a night I
don't think any of us don't wish we had come to a conclusion by now."
Over the past year,
authorities have compiled 68 four-inch binders of information and
collected more than 4,500 leads. In addition to investigators' work,
search and rescue officials and volunteers have put in 24,638 hours
toward looking for Horman, who was last seen June 4, 2010, at a science
fair at Skyline School.
The multi-agency task force
has looked at registered sex offenders in the area of the school and
have also examined the Horman home, visitors to the school that day and
others who may have made cellphone calls that were routed to towers near
the school, the Horman home and nearby Sauvie Island the morning the
boy disappeared.
Multnomah County sheriff's
detectives, FBI agents and up to four state investigators are among the
task force members who have spent the past six months examining at least
60 persons of interest.
No suspects have been named in
a case that has cost more than $1.4 million. The Oregonian reported the
boy's stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, remains the focus of
investigators. Her lawyer has repeatedly declined comment.
The newspaper said "millions
of data points" still need to be examined. Those points come from all
the cellphone calls picked up by 11 towers within a certain radius of
the school — what investigators call "ground zero" — during the
six-hour span when Horman was last seen at the morning science fair and
when he was reported missing after it was discovered he wasn't on an
afternoon school bus.
Investigators do not know what
happened to the boy, and have considered a number of possibilities,
including that he was abducted, was a victim of human trafficking or was
killed, The Oregonian reported. The investigation will remain active
until the boy is found, there's an arrest or there are no further leads,
Staton said.
"We're not going to call it a
task force anymore," the sheriff said. "If something breaks, then we'll
bring everybody back together."

Not the best of news on the first anniversary.
Cannot blame LE though. Without the cooperation of the step-mom this is going nowhere fast.
How can people stand idly by and watch a kid "disappear into thin air" and be missing for over a year???
Then again, Kyron's not alone. Look at the pages of other still missing boys and girls
in Kyron's new section...Long Term

Sad but understandable. His parents have the media savvy to keep his name in the news so he will not be forgotten.
One day, someone will stumble upon bones and it will be determined that they are his. IMO.
What a sad, sad thing to have happen.
People need to use caution when they are bringing someone into their home and giving them access to their children.
It is usually the B/F or step father, but more and frequently it is the G/F or step mother.
Sometimes however, crazies can fool people. I think this is one of those cases.
Kyron, where are you precious boy? I am praying for you.

Re: KYRON HORMAN - 7 yo (2010) - Portland OR - Thread #2
(CBS News) A year ago today, seven-year-old Kyron Horman disappeared from his elementary school in Portland, Oregon. Since
then, countless people have searched for him, to no avail. But his
family continues to hold out hope that he will be found. According
to the Multomah County Sheriff's Office, "To date--through leads,
interviews, search reports, search warrants and evidence
collection--more than 68 four-inch investigative binders have been
compiled. The total number of leads has exceeded 4,500, with over 3,500
interviews having been conducted by investigators. The Sheriff's Office
and Task Force investigators have invested over 26,650 hours into the
case to date. Additionally, Multnomah County Search and Rescue
Coordinators and volunteers have logged 24,638 hours in the effort to
find Kyron." On "The Early Show on Saturday Morning,"
Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, told co-anchor Rebecca Jarvis what keeps
her going is she knows "if I don't do it, nobody's going to. And so I
stay focused on making sure that everybody's aware of Kyron, and the
case, and keeping his name and face out there. And just keeping the
pressure up on Terri (Horman, Kyron's stepmother, since divorced from
Kyron's father, and the last person known to have seen the second-grader
alive), and just making sure that there's as much coverage on it as
possible." Terri Horman, Young said, hasn't helped investigators. "She still refuses to talk," Young said. Does Young think Terri Horman knows something? "Oh, yes. She did something to Kyron that day. She knows exactly what happened that day and what she did to him." "We
look forward," Young said, "to some renewed searching in the hopefully
near future, with the weather coming into summer. We should have some
nice weather to do some of our searching again. And I think that that's
gonna be key in helping us find Kyron." But Bruce McCain,
a former captain with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, told
Jarvis it's most likely someone will come upon Kyron's remains. He
added, "We may not see as many public searches as we have before as
this investigation gets scaled back, primarily because of the money
issue. They just crossed the $2 million mark and the new fiscal year
starts, and they' not going to be able to afford to keep going like they
have in the past." McCain observed, "This will more than
likely turn into an unsolved case, until Kyron himself is discovered by
someone somewhere. ... The sheriff himself has expressed public doubt
as to whether Kyron is alive or dead, and as long as that reasonable
doubt exists in the sheriff's mind, there simply won't be an arrest or
prosecution in this case, because they simply don't know what happened
to Kyron. "This is not an unsolved child homicide. It is a
missing child case. And that's all it is at this point. In fact, we
don't even know what the crime or crimes are, let alone who did it. So
-- an arrest in this case won't end it. That will simply start the
prosecution. And we're a long way from that. "Chances
are, these cases will resolve themselves. But more than likely, it's
going to be through the help of an unwitting hiker or someplace else
that will stumble upon Kyron's remains. I know Desiree probably doesn't
want to hear that, but I know she's braced for that and prepared for it.
The best news is that he comes home alive, soon, rather than later. But
it's gonna take some time."

Kyron Horman case: Investigation continues, as does restraining order
Posted on July 13, 2011 by Valhall

In a recent interview with Kaine Horman, KATU reports that even though the Task Force working the investigation into Kyron’s disappearance was announced to have scaled back and shifted focus, it is still a very active investigation. Within Kaine’s statements to KATU are some hints at what areas the Task Force is now focusing on.
Kaine states
It’s [The Task Force is] going through communication records of all different forms. You’ve got online; you’ve got cell phones; you’ve got whatever various angles you’ve got on that. And it’s just a matter of time where they get to those last few areas they can’t rule out and hopefully we can get some answers from those areas.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The father of Kyron Horman is making a renewed effort to keep the search for his missing son alive.
Kaine Horman told Fox 12 he plans to have a
table set up at Clark County's Largest Garage Sale this weekend to hand
out printed material about his missing son.
Kyron Horman was last seen more than a year ago at Skyline School in Northwest Portland.
In addition to this weekend's event, Kaine
Horman says he'll be distributing materials at the Festival of Healing

I am glad this got bumped up. I saw a very heartfelt and tearful interview with Kyron's Mom, Desiree, on JVM tonight. The emotional pain must be unforgiving.
I wonder about Kyron and so many, many others who have been gone all this time. It seems that as the leads slow down and the MSM goes on to other stories LE puts these cases on the back-burner. They wind up in some cold case file until some bored detective picks up a dusty box 20 years from now and says, maybe I'll give it a try. The names and the faces to me are still fresh. It seems like they just went missing yesterday. For the families it has been an eternity. The public: Kyron who? Brittanee who?
We must not forget.

Multnomah County judge extends restraining order Kaine Horman obtained against his wife, Terri Moulton Horman, through June 2012
Published: Tuesday, August 16, 2011, 5:12 PM Updated: Tuesday, August 16, 2011, 5:33 PM
At Kaine Horman's request, a Multnomah County judge has renewed the restraining order that Kaine Horman obtained against his wife, Terri Lynn Moulton Horman, for another year, lasting through June 27, 2012, court records show.
Kaine Horman's divorce attorney, Laura Rackner, had faxed to the court a petition to renew the restraining order on June 27. Rackner attached a two-paragraph exhibit, a brief summary of the ongoing investigation into Kyron's disappearance, as an exhibit to support the one-year extension:
The exhibit said this:
"My son, Kyron, has been missing since June 4, 2010. I do not know where he is, if he has been harmed, or if he is alive. Local and federal law enforcement agencies are currently investigating my wife, respondent/Terri Horman, for her involvement in Kyron's disappearance. Terri Horman will not cooperate with law enforcement and will not assist in the search for Kyron. I believe that Terri Horman is responsible for Kyron's disappearance.
After Kyron went missing and the investigation began, law enforcement officials informed me that my wife had attempted to hire our landscaper to kill me for money. I obtained a restraining order against her to protect myself and my daughter Kiara. Respondent/Terri Horman is a substantial safety threat to me and to my family. She has manifested a desire to physically harm myself and my family, and I fear she will continue to try to harm myself and to (sic) my family."
Terri Horman's divorce attorney Peter Bunch confirmed in a written document filed in court that he had received copies of Kaine Horman's petition and the court order renewing the restraining order against his client.
On July 14, a Douglas County deputy sheriff personally certified that he served Terri Horman with a copy of the restraining order renewal at her parent's home in Roseburg where she's living.
Kyron has not been seen since June 4, 2010, after attending a science fair at Skyline School. His stepmom, Terri Moulton Horman, told investigators that after attending the science fair with him, she said goodbye and saw him walking towards his classroom at 8:45 a.m. He was not reported missing until that afternoon when he failed to return home on the school bus.

PORTLAND, Ore. – The iconic “Wall of Hope” that has come to symbolize
the search for Kyron Horman has moved to a new home at the Xtreme Edge Gym in Beaverton.
The wall first sprung up outside Skyline Elementary School shortly after
Kyron disappeared in June 2010. People left cards and stuffed animals
on a fence to show their support.
It later moved to a nearby firehouse before ending up at the Beaverton gym this weekend.
“I know that a lot of the staff are excited to have it here,” said Kaine
Horman, Kyron’s father. “A lot of them know (Kyron) and they want to
help and this is a way they can help.”
Kaine said he plans to keep the wall up at the gym until the case is closed.
He told KATU on Saturday that investigators are still working the case.
“We’ll probably be looking for additional photos from the day of, that
day. Whether or not anyone in there is someone of interest or not, let’s
go get them all,” Kaine said.
He also talked about his estranged wife, Terri Horman, who has faced
much scrutiny during the case but has not been charged with a crime.
“They’ve looked at many different angles on this case. She’s one of
them,” he said. “She’s also one of them that we haven’t been able to
rule out and she’s also one of the ones that has absolutely refused to
cooperate.”
Kaine said he plans to hold more public events in the coming months to keep Kyron on people’s minds.
“We miss him. This should’ve been done a long time ago,” he said. “He should already be home.”

New searches are planned this weekend for evidence in the disappearance of Kyron Horman, who turns 9 on Friday.
Kyron's mother Desiree Young said Multnomah County Sheriff's Office will comb "key areas" that have not yet been searched.
"It's an active investigation," said Lt. Steve Alexander, spokesman for the
sheriff's office. "We're continuing to pursue leads and tips."
He would not confirm that officials would be conducting searches this weekend.

Young said officials are trying to keep a low profile so they can
go about their work without a horde of onlookers or members of the
media recording their moves.
She and her husband Tony Young, who
live in Medford, conducted a search Aug. 27 and 28 with two trained
nonprofit groups. She said they had a variety of vehicles and searched
places around Northwest Germantown and Newberry roads and the area
around Northwest Skyline Boulevard.
"We will probably be doing a few searches," she said.
She said the searches have focused on public property and that the
sheriff's office is planning on combing areas identified in the
investigation that have not been searched.
While the Youngs are focused on the search, Kyron's dad, Kaine Horman, is planning a birthday party for his son at Big Al's in Beaverton from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
The event will include a mohawk station for boys and a nail-painting
station for girls. Horman, who shaves his head, said he plans on getting
a purple quarter-inch mohawk in tribute to Kyron, who always wanted
one. For details on the party, check Kyron's website, http://bringkyronhome.org.
Horman, who appreciates sheriff's volunteers actively looking for his son, is not taking part in the searches.
"I'm not certified," he said. "I'm going to leave it to the professionals so
if they find something they can process it properly so it can be used
in legal proceedings if it's relevant. I don't want it thrown out if
it's tampered with or moved."
Besides, he said, he believes his boy is still alive.
"I know the searches have to be done but I don't think they will find anything," he said.

Re: KYRON HORMAN - 7 yo (2010) - Portland OR - Thread #2
MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OREGON--While most parents of children who are
turning nine years old are busy planning birthday parties, the parents
of Kyron Horman were spending the day much as they have each day since
June 4, 2010, the day the little boy with the big blue eyes and toothy
grin disappeared from the grounds of his elementary school in suburban
Portland. Waiting for answers.
The boy's step-mother, Terry Horman, was the last to see the boy before he reportedly disappeared from Skyline Elementary school just minutes before school started that late spring morning.
According to Horman, she took the boy inside the school and took a
photo of him standing next to his science project, which he had planned
on showcasing later in the day. Horman says she left the child at the
school and became alarmed when the child did not return home from school
that afternoon.
Since the boy's disappearance, Terry Horman has been under an
umbrella of suspicion in the case, refusing to cooperate with law
enforcement or answer any questions from the media. Speculation reached a
fever pitch in the case when it was discovered that Horman had
attempted to hire the family's landscaper to murder her husband, the
boy's father, Kaine Horman.
In Kaine Horman's resulting application for a restraining order
against Terry Horman, it was further alleged that the boy's step-mother
had begun an affair with a high school acquaintance of Kaine Horman
shortly after the child disappeared and had allegedly plotted to abduct
the couple's biological daughter, a toddler named Kiara. Although no
charges against Terry Horman have been officially filed, the restraining
order remains in effect and law enforcement officials have named no
other suspects in the case.
According to Portland news station KOIN,
members of law enforcement refuse to give up the search for the missing
boy, who would have turned nine on September 9th. According to the
report, members of law enforcement and local community volunteers
searched the wooded areas off Germantown Road, an area nearby the boy's
school, for clues on what may have happened to the boy, although no
indications were given as to what prompted the latest search.
As the parents of the missing boy have done on each birthday since
the boy disappeared, Kaine Horman and Kyron's biological mother, Desiree
Young have marked the occasion with a party to celebrate the boy's birth and to demonstrate their hope for his safe return.
In addition to bowling and playing video games, Mohawk hair cuts were
offered to whomever wanted one. According to Kaine Horman, Mohawk hair
cuts were a running joke he shared with his son, as the boy always asked
for one when his father cut his hair.
“It’s kind of what we did every time we got our haircuts and stuff,
so we just had this idea to do that today and all of us get Mohawks in
his honor,” said Horman.
Terry Horman remains in seclusion
in the home she grew up in, located in Roseburg, Oregon and, according
to neighbors, rarely leaves the home. Kyron's biological mother, Desiree
Young remains strong in her conviction that Horman knows what happened
to her son, stating, "We know that Terri blamed Kyron for her failing
marriage and wanted him out of her life. She put that all in writing.
She had a severe, severe hatred for Kyron.”
According to law enforcement, more searches are planned for next week.
For more information on the disappearance of Kyron Horman, or if you
have any information that may be valuable to law enforcement, contact
the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office at (503) 988 -4300.

Kyron Horman case: Divorce delayed again…Terri continues to look bad

Well, I’m not sure how all this lawyering up works when you’re in the nine-line-bind Terri Horman has put herself in. I mean she’s got a divorce lawyer, a high-profile criminal lawyer. Wait, I said that in the wrong order. Let’s review exactly WHEN Terri started looking so bad in the public eye.
It was after she’d most likely started looking pretty bad in law enforcement’s eyes, that’s for sure. Because, unknown to the public, she had already flunked a couple of polygraphs and walked out on one that was scheduled between those two. And, it was before we found out that she had flunked those polygraphs, because we didn’t find that out until it was revealed in an interview with Desiree and Kaine on July 8th, 2010!
Nope, she started looking pretty bad in the public eye when Kaine Horman, after being informed Terri had tried to get a landscaper to knock him off, bundled up their little baby girl, Kiara, walked out on Terri, filed for divorce and filed a restraining order that prevented Terri from even seeing her little baby girl.

Re: KYRON HORMAN - 7 yo (2010) - Portland OR - Thread #2
Nov 4th 2011
SEATTLE -- Seventeen months have passed since Kyron Horman vanished from his elementary school in Oregon.
Since then, detectives have invested more than 26,000 hours investigating the
boy's disappearance and conducted more than 3,500 interviews. The boy's
stepmother still remains under intense scrutiny, but no arrests have been made in the case.
"It's a little bit of mourning for loss everyday," said the boy's father, Kaine Horman. "(It is the) second time since he's been missing that we celebrated a birthday without him, and it's been really tough."
Kaine Horman is doing what he can to keep the search alive. Every weekend, he
takes to the road, raising awareness about his missing son. He travels
with boxes of buttons, bracelets and T-shirts to spread around Washington, Oregon and California.
"We need people to stay alert, remember what he looks like, remember that he's still missing," he said. "And we need to keep looking."
This week's work brought him to Seattle and Shoreline Stadium, where he played football as a boy.
"This is home away from home," he said.
Kaine Horman says his estranged wife Terri Horman's lack of cooperation with investigators has been a source of constant frustration.
"We feel that she's got information that could help lead to closure in this
investigation. And we need her to give it to us, and she's refusing to cooperate," said Kaine Horman.
Kyron Horman was 7 years old when his stepmother dropped him off at school for a science fair. Terri
Horman has never been labeled a suspect, but has remained a focus of the investigation.
Kaine Horman says his wife led a double life.
"And after the second polygraph failure, she refused to continue any
additional interviews moving forward," he said. "I was briefed on a
murder-for-hire plot they uncovered three weeks after he went missing, and I haven't spoken with her since."
Terri Horman denies any involvement in the boy's disappearance, or the alleged plot against her husband.
"We discussed the murder-for-hire, and still it's something my brain can't
process nor does it really need to," Kaine Horman said. "We need to find
Kyron, and that's what this is all about. And everything else is
waiting for when he's found. And justice will come and be served."
Searches last month turned up nothing, and police have warned the devastated
father that this case might take some time to close.
"They phrased it (this way) - It could be a sprint or a marathon, and (it
will) most likely a marathon based on what they had uncovered at the beginning of the case," Kaine Horman said.
Despite dead-ends, Kyron Horman's father clings to the hope that his son will be found alive.
"We have not received truth of what happened that day, and we need that
truth to find where he's at, and finish this out. And we haven't gotten it," said Kaine Horman.

Kyron Horman from Portland, Ore. has been missing for 17 months, but hope continues as massive search efforts have turned up nothing over his disappearance. Portland's Heron Lakes Golf Club held a "Run for Kyron" event Saturday to raise funds for the boy who mysteriously disappeared June 4 during a science fair at Skyline Elementary School. Kyron was 7-years-old at the time he went missing.
The little boy's father, Kaine Horman, was on hand for the event. He told reporters that he won't give up on his son.
"You don't give up hope," Kaine told KGW 8 News. "You need to fight as hard as you can to find your son. Just like we're doing for Kyron. As parents we owe it to our kids to do that. They're out there somewhere."
Proceeds from the "Run for Kyron" event will fund additional search efforts to find the missing boy who is now 9-years-old.
No arrests have been made in the Kyron Horman missing case. Kaine and Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, allege that the stepmother, Terri Horman, is involved in the disturbing disappearance of Kyron and have urged the public to question her every chance they can.

Snipped from an article above....
"According to Horman, she took the boy inside the school and took a photo of him standing next to his science project, which he had planned on showcasing later in the day. Horman says she left the child at the school and became alarmed when the child did not return home from schoolthat afternoon.
Since the boy's disappearance, Terry Horman has been under an
umbrella of suspicion in the case, refusing to cooperate with law
enforcement or answer any questions from the media. Speculation reached afever pitch in the case when it was discovered that Horman had attempted to hire the family's landscaper to murder her husband, the boy's father, Kaine Horman."
It sounds to me like Terry purposely took Kyron in the school that morning and took his picture to appear that he was at school for an alibi. Then I bet she told him they needed to get something out of the car for the project or school and instead she took off with him and killed him. Then it would appear that he was at school. Secondly, why in the h@ll isn't she in jail for solicitation of murder of Kaine? That woman is walking the streets? OMG, she will kill again for sure.

An interesting theory bj, and one that we have entertained before.
The other that you might consider, since nobody really remembers seeing him that morning is that they set the Tree Frog display up the previous afternoon. The picture may have been taken then as it would have been too difficult to get all those kids in, in the morning, set up their stuff, get to class and get ready for the townsfolk and parents to come through and view the exhibits.

Kaine Horman: Officers still 'hot on the case'
By David Krough KGW-TV
updated 2 hours 23 minutes ago
PORTLAND – The father of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman said the investigation continued in the case, and several events were planned for 2012 to help move the case forward.
"Law enforcement agencies are still hot on the case. Obviously because the investigation is still ongoing there are not a lot of specifics I will comment on other than they are still working hard, we are still in frequent communication," Kaine Horman wrote.
Kyron Horman was 7 years old when he disappeared from Skyline Elementary in June 2010. No suspects have ever been named but the investigation focused on Kyron's stepmom, Terri Moulton Horman.
Horman said he was involved in awareness projects, proposing legislation to awareness events in other states and co-sponsoring with other non-profit organizations.
Horman said next month, he would be at the Portland Roadster Show on March 16 to raise awareness about the case.

I can't believe that woman hasn't been arrested. Casey taught a lot of evil people to just dispose of the body and they can get by with murder.babyjustice wrote:Snipped from an article above....

Preview: Run For Kyron
Published: Friday, May 18, 2012, 1:00 PM
By Joe Dudman
By now, most people in the Portland area are aware of the tragic story of Kyron Horman, the boy who disappeared after being dropped off at school in June of 2010. In an effort to keep his name and face in the public eye, Uberthons is hosting the 2nd annual Run For Kyron on Saturday, June 2nd at Cook Park in Tigard.
The event features a 10k, 5k, 1k, and kids race, and all the usual amenities of an Uberthons event, including the instantaneous results available to finishers virtually as soon as they cross the line.
While inevitably a bittersweet event, the Run For Kyron will help keep his memory alive and hopefully increase awareness that he has still not been found. Maybe publicity from events like this will lead to a break in the case, and a happy resolution. (Wouldn't it be great if at some point in the future this race became "Run With Kyron"?) At the very least, participants will be able to show support for the missing boy's family and friends.
What: The 2nd Annual Run For Kyron
When: Saturday, June 2nd
Where: Cook Park, Tigard
What time: 10k at 8:00a, 5k at 8:10a, 1k at 9:20a, kids run at 9:30a
Registration: 10k: $35, 5k: $25, 1k: $5, kids run: free! Register online HERE. For more ways to help visit www.bringkyronhome.org/
