Mother arrested after child found home alone with marijuana

According to metro police, 26-year-old
Monique Davis was taken into custody for child neglect after her
daughter called 911 for help.

A 911 call from a seven-year-old girl ends with her
mother under arrest. According to metro police, 26-year-old Monique
Davis was taken into custody for child neglect after her daughter called for help.

She had been left home alone and told police she was
scared. The child also said she was often left by herself for long
periods of time. When officers entered the house they found the remains
of several marijuana cigarettes.

Davis now face drug charges as well.
