A good point. How often are we reminded about "fake" cops? I still think there is a whole lot LE isn't saying and, it's strange we haven't heard from the family--normally they would've been on the news by now. Strange situation.

Her brother is posting almost daily on facebook for her not to be scared and to come home, and how much he loves her.

Scarey that there is nothing on the news.

I've heard that the search was called off due to ice. But that just doesn't sound right.

There is so much that isn't right about this case. This is almost the same thing that was going on with Michael Rogers.

I just noticed that the driver's side front end of her car looks damaged to me.

It, also, hit me that someone could have thrown something from the overpass.

Just thinking out loud here...

Did she ever meet up with the friends on Monday?

Just checked the websites of all the MSM outlets mentioned...
NOTHING! What is the big F'ing secret???

They (as in the family and LE) were pleading for help. How can anyone help, if everything is a big secret.

As a resident of the WNY area I have become deeply concerned about the progress in finding Angel.
Is there a media blackout on this case? It has been days since one of the local MSM stations have had any updates on the search.
My concern is two-fold, as a resident of the general community and as a
Moderator for News on a website devoted to missing and abused children.

You'll see that our caring community is asking many questions that we have no answers for.
We certainly do not want to impede the investigation, however, if I need remind you...
Your department is considered a public agency by New York State law. As such you have a legal obligation to respond to
Freedom of Information requests. Section 84 of the law clearly states, "Access to such information should not be thwarted
by shrouding it with the cloak of secrecy or confidentiality. The legislature
therefore declares that government is the public's business and that
the public, individually and collectively and represented by a free press,
should have access to the records of government in accordance with the
provisions of this article."
Look, I fully understand that releasing certain aspects of your
investigation maybe be counter-productive but at least give us some
positive information about this case.
We need to know that the search is still ongoing, that all forms of
criminal behavior have been ruled out forensically and that all is being
done to verify her well-being.

This link has tons of information. The bridge does have a place to park
after it. I know this area well. I was down there today! There is foul
play. I can feel it.

Angel was a senior at a local high school. This is adding something to the mix for sure.
With all the pressure of the next few months...Dances, Picnics, Parties and Graduation ~
what was going on with that side of her life, the social side.

to us on camera. It was Angel's father who called police around 12

I agree, but am hoping she is safe.

Poster's Note: I am happy to report that the information blackout has been lifted, at least for now.
This, at least, leads me to believe that no "body was found at the mouth of the creek".

The search for 18-year-old Angel Leverenz is now going nationwide. Evans
Police are distributing pamphlets with a picture of the Angola teen to
the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Detectives say
they have followed up on about 20 leads since she disappeared last week,
but none has materialized. Police found her car with her keys and ID
still inside last Thursday near 18-mile Creek.
