On the 3rd anniversary of Caylee Anthony’s death we start the defense’s presentation in the trial of her murder with her mother as the defendant. I think it had something to do with those facts that the line for seats was more subdued than it’s been in awhile.

Casey looked about the same as she has on previous days and was chatting with her attorney’s like they were having a corporate meeting in a few minutes. No one watching her would think she was on trial for the murder of her daughter and that today was an anniversary of that murder – typical Casey. She was also much more animated while the jury was present, doing some paralegal work (!!!) grabbing papers off the table to review. All I could think of is that she feels in her element. This is the beginning of HER STORY. It’s going to be all about HER (in her mind). She isn’t concerned anymore with being the sad little tortured waif that has been so misunderstood by everyone and so maligned by every law enforcement branch known to man.
