---Hi and welcome tammers1212! Check earlier in this topic I know that pic was up here sometime. You are not the first person to question this. It's really not that odd about the school students and teachers not having clear recollection. It's only when something is unique that it sticks out in our memory. There was nothing unique about the SM seen walking with Kyron, or getting into the truck with him, or just seeing Kyron at school.
Now had he been wearing a big rubber nose and clown shoes while singing Yankee Doodle... that's my point.

I finally found the picture. I wonder if LE has considered this picture at all

it was taken june 7 and shows the janitor - i think this is the door to his classroom and that is the stairwell down - i find it interesting that th said she waved to him from "down the hall" and i think i have read where it was about 150' - so why didn't she use this stairwell that is closest to the classroom? hmmm

I have thought of that and I might choose to go down the hall the other way to another set of stairs (if available) depending on which side of the building my car was parked... or she may have needed to stop at a bathroom on her way out. Simply speculation.

Maybe she was a little miserable that having to care for Kyron took away from all of her time to look like that ( which is HORRIBLE BTW) Ive seen alot of cases where parents do horrible things because their children "made them fat" or they "have no life anymore" or "dont have anything for themselves". Now in this case shes caring for SOMEONE ELSES' child and has obviously gained weight and lost all muscle tone since then. I dunno Im just sayin. It would make sense. Maybe Kaine liked her like that and she let herself go while she was caring for Kyron. Maybe their marriage has been rocky since she let herself go. She could have been very angry at Kyron for this, which is so so sad. I gained 40 lbs since I have had my son 3 years ago. But thats NOT HIS fault; It is my own. Some ppl don't see things that way though.

I just looked at these pictures and all I can say is ewwwwwwwwww, ewwwwwwwwwww! That is just nasty!

OOOOHHHHH! That explains it....steroids. I'll bet you anything she was taking them...I was thinking meth, but steroids can do the same thing...and it makes behavior unpredictable...did y'all already discuss this? I haven't had time to back-read, so I apologize if this is redundant.

SOOO. This would be a little hard to get ready for when you have a toddler and a 7 year old that you are having to do science projects with and stuff...... Please sense the sarcasm.
From what I understood on the web page, this would have been in May

I agree Alice must be steroids, ewwwwwww theose pictures are gross......and was wondering if sm took the picture in his classroom at science fair, why would she have had to walk him down the hall and watch him go to the classroom if he was already there.......and usually moms take their kids right to the door when they are that age to make sure he gets in alright and that the teacher is aware he is there........just odd to me

Steroids do make people act more violent/aggressive, I had a friend in highschool who took steroids and sometimes he would get so red and angry for no reason and just SNAP. Possibly why her son moved out? Maybe she was off them for along time and just started taking them again to prepare for that competition but had so many other things going on she couldnt do the competition and that took a toll on her self esteem? I think in my head im just trying to justify why a step mother would do this... but there is NO WAY to justify her actions (if she is the one that did this of course) Id like to think that it was a complete stranger and that no woman in their right mind would ever hurt a child. But in the real world it happens and that is really sad, and all signs right now are pointing to TH. I just hope they find out soon so that whoever did this can be put away. And if it does end up being TH, I hope that she realizes what she has done and I hope that feeling of regret and guilt stays in her head forever. I hope everyday she will see the face of that poor innocent boy and realize that she is a monster.

Kyron Horman's family released new video and 200 photos of the missing boy Thursday, one day ahead of a scheduled interview with members of the media. The 7-year-old's biological parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, are expected to meet with reporters Friday morning. The child's stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, will not be present.

I still think that she was a relatively good stepmother until something pushed her over the edge and she had to protect her own child from something that Kyron knew. May be Kyron accused her son of something?

Terri didn't know that she married into a family with child molesters. Kristian Horman (Kaine's brother) admitted to molesting his girlfriends child and then he told the police that he had been molested by his grandfather.

It is possible that Kyron witnessed something that was embarrassing for Terri OR may be he was a victim of child molestation and someone wanted to keep him quiet.

The email below is unbelievable to me. I certainly do not want to bash Kaine Horman, but doesn't he understand that the media is necessary to get the word out about his son?

Some rough background:

The article that Becky forwarded is pretty
accurate with details. He was dropped off at school about 8:45 and went
missing sometime between then and 9 or 9:30am. We did not know he was
not at school until we went to get him off of the bus
at 3:30 and he was nowhere to be found. The bus driver immediately
called the school which responded that his teacher had not seen him all
day in class, at which point we notified police in partnership
with the school. It is still unknown whether he left school grounds on
his own or was abducted. Be assured that there are currently an
amazing number of agencies and amount of person-power being applied to
the search and investigation.



Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for
Kyron’s safe return. I will update the group once status
changes which will hopefully be soon. At the time of this note
Kyron has now been missing for ~48 hours; time is of the essence.

I don't know Mitestarossa, I haven't come across that info yet. Still trying to catch up on it all, but anyhow I have read where Blink said that parents were not invited to the talent show. I have also read somewhere that the science projects were set up the day before....which would make sense to me as I can't imagine them leaving it until the morning the guests are all there to view them. Exactly Tom. I don't think LE have said whether that the photo was taken that morning. It could be assumption because that was the morning of the fair and that was the day she put it on facebook. I would have thought that if it was that morning there would be a lot more people in the room. We've supposedly got 300 kids and their parents at the school that morning yet the room is empty. But if this was that morning then I would suggest that TH and Kyron were there extra early or late, after all the other kids and their parents had left. Do we know if that is Kyrons classroom? I was just hypothesizing, but perhaps after the bell rang and all the kids had gone to their class or where ever they were supposed to go that morning TH said to Kyron Oh wait, I didn't get a photo of you with your project yet. That would explain the lack of peeps in the room and why the substitute teacher noticed he wasn't there when the bell went. Then we may have Kyron parting ways with TH and they may have been going in different directions and Kyron was in the corridors by himself after the bell rang. Either TH or another visitor or employee or older child could have taken advantage of the situation.

As as I know the only adult confirmation of Terri and Kyron is at 8:15am by Gina Zimmerman the president of the PTA. 8:15 is early, so may be there wasn't very many people around yet.

May be Terri left earlier than 8:45am.

Welcome to the blog tammers. Obviously Terri was taking the photo's so it doesn't mean anything that there are none with her in them. Just the reverse, to me it looks like a proud mom taking pics of her boys on holiday.
Also you posted before that Terri may have resented Kyron becuase she had got out of shape. That's not logical to me because it would have been because of her toddler not Kyron. She would have had to stop taking steroids(if she took them) and not have time once she got pregnant and had the baby.

I know that TH herself has said that what was said about that morning in the media is wrong. I'd love to get the exact story so we can judge things better. But...if it was all done that morning you're right, it would have been a fiasco and not all that surprising then that Kyron could have been taken somehow amidst all the mayhem. Excited kids, lot's of adults, no way to know who's supposed to be there and who isn't.
They are still looking for the man in the picture aren't they? That's odd that he hasn't come forward. Maybe he was there on Thursday and that's why he didn't come forward.
