Hi Admin I agree. If the people around you that you've fought for approval from all your life are championing in your corner and giving you sympathy you're not going to confess. There's nothing to gain by confessing but a lot to loose. At least they will have their family to write them and visit them in jail as long as they don't confess.

I know the family is holding out hope, but I am sure that Kyron is no longer with us. This isn't a Jaycee Dugard situation. I will go to my grave believing Terri did something to this poor child, and now she is repressing and suppressing. It's her MO.
I was reading about Darlie Router, who to this day maintains her innocence...and I firmly believe it's because so many people (her family) rallied around her....unlike and Susan Smith - who had none of that kind of support...cracked almost immediately. I've noticed that those who confess have no family and friends being their cheerleaders, or stepping up to the plate saying, "Yeah, she was really selfish and self-absorbed, she is capable of this." Just sayin'....
It's just like Casey. If only Cindy, George and Lee would have said, "Sure, she is the kind of person that would do this," I think Casey would've confessed a long time ago, just to win their love and approval. (In Casey's mind). Same with Terri. Too late now, though. Too many people have gathered 'round in support of Terri. She won't confess at this point. She is getting a huge payoff by not confessing, more than she would for telling what she did. Remove all that love and support for her and watch the tables turn. That's my opinion. Humbly. And, um...psychologically. Dare I say it? ;-)
There's nothing Desiree or Kaine can say at this point to make Terri tell what she did. Terri is getting tons of support from family and friends of family, so as long as that payoff is there, of people that believe her, she will never confess. (Just like Darlie, even though the evidence was overwhelming) And as long as they don't have Kyron...well...I don't even want to go there. I will say this, though. The truth always comes out. Always.
You made some great points Admin ......TH is getting all the attention now, something she craved, which is why she went to friends to complain about her marriage, for SYMPATHY and ATTENTION.....another "needy" person who will do anything to keep herself in the spotlight, she didn't have her body building anymore, no more accolades for that so this is what followed.......so sad, and I really do believe that little boy is with the angels

Exactly...and...Terri wasn't stupid, she has a short story to tell (and Terri KNEW a short story was best)...unlike Darlie or Susan Smith...Terri has a short lie to stick to...."I dropped him off at school. That's all I know." That is all she has to keep repeating to be believed... unfortunately, her past behavior and her current behavior all spell trouble for Kyron.

Re: KYRON HORMAN - 7 yo - Portland OR
We learned that TH's dad was going to her house to support 'them' through this and that her mother was already there with her. They even got a brief comment from her father IIRC. Shortly after, we learned that KH had already moved out of the house and this would have been while TH's father was en route???
Is it possible that the father had been told ahead of time that KH was moving out and why?
Where are her parents now? Haven't seen any sign/word from them in their support to TH nor have they made any public plea to help find Kyron. Very bizarre.

I feel so sad about little Kiara as well. She must be missing her mom. Any innocent person would be holding their own press conferences and firing back with all guns blazing. At least I would. I'd be screaming the place down on NG, demanding to be either arrested or give me my child back.

Reading the KH/DY interviews, it sounds like she's been tripping all over herself with lies. They seem to say her story changes in every telling, but then... we know it's all about her

karma wrote:Kyron’s Parents Describe Web of Deception from Stepmom (With Audio)
For Desiree Young, it came down to the hair.
Shortly after her son, Kyron Horman, disappeared
June 4, most of the missing 7-year-old’s family was in shock. There was
one notable exception, Young says — Kyron’s stepmom, Terri
Moulton Horman.
“She’s talking about her hair that she just got done, and they put
highlights in, it turned out a little too orange,” Young recalled in a
tape-recorded interview with WW Thursday evening. “I can’t get
up every morning, put on my makeup or function even remotely normally,
and she’s talking about going and getting her hair done.”
Terri Horman’s attorney, Stephen Houze, has told
reporters neither he nor his client will comment on the case.
Young says she suspected Terri Horman may have been involved in
Kyron’s disappearance from the moment the stepmom called her to tell her
the boy was missing. And Horman’s behavior after the disappearance
heightened those suspicions.
“Every single day, we’d wake up, we’d gather up, and we’d just go and
start doing stuff (to help find Kyron). And she was always just kind of
behind,” says Kyron’s father Kaine Horman, who also
sat for the WW interview. “It wasn’t about, ‘what can we do?’ It’s
about, ‘what’s being done to me, or what about me?’ It was just kind of
more centered around her.”
Kaine Horman filed for divorce and a restraining order against Terri Horman on June 28,
saying in court documents he believes she’s behind Kyron’s disappearance
and an alleged plot to have Kaine Horman killed. He says she also
failed two polygraphs and walked out of a third.
Kaine Horman says it was only after Kyron disappeared that he learned
the extent of his marital problems. He says he found out Terri Horman
had been complaining to friends behind his back for months about their
marriage. But he says she rarely expressed those feelings to him.
“She would basically just internalize it and go to somebody else and
go, ‘hey, here’s how I feel, our marriage is having problems,’ and just
vent to other people, having this victim mentality of, I want you to see
it my way, I want you to side with me,” Kaine Horman says. “But she
didn’t ever talk to me about it.”
He also told WW Terri Horman suffered post-partum depression after the birth of
their daughter 19 months ago and may have been hiding her condition.
Young and Horman say the full extent of Terri Horman’s deceptions
wasn’t clear until after Kyron disappeared, when they and investigators
began piecing the picture together in conversations with friends and
acquaintances.
But Kaine Horman says he didn’t fully believe his wife could be
behind Kyron’s disappearance until he learned about the alleged
murder-for-hire plot. The Oregonian has reported Terri Horman
offered to pay a landscaper to kill her husband six or seven months ago.
“I have no idea what she’s capable of, because she’s obviously done
some horrible things or tried to do some horrible things that took us
all by surprise,” Kaine Horman said.
Young says Terri Horman was a frequent liar about matters large and
small.
“She can’t even tell the truth about her divorce or, you know, how
she met Kaine, any of that,” Young says. “Silly little things. Stories
about Kyron getting stung by a bee she can’t even tell the truth about.”
She says she suspects Terri Horman was untruthful in the first phone
call to Young the day Kyron disappeared.
“Sometimes a mother’s instinct can be pretty accurate, but at the
same time, (my suspicion) was factual-based,” she says. “I can’t give
you details, but some of what she was saying didn’t match up with me.
I’m familiar with the school, and I know how the school’s set up, and
some of what she’s saying doesn’t make sense to me.”

Horman’s behavior after Kyron’s disappearance.http://blogs.wweek.com/news/2010/07/10/kyrons-parents-describe-web-of-deception-from-stepmom/
I noticed in here that DY said she knew the setup of the school and that what TH was saying didnt make sense. I thought that ever since I saw the picture of how close his clasroom was from that stairwell... not 100-150 ft. I would find it hard to believe (if there was a stairwell on the other side also) that TH would use that one, instead of walking Kyron to class knowing she could get down the stairwell by his class..

God Bless Kyron. It's time to take TH to jail, there has to be something they can charge her with and get the psycho beotch behind bars and out of the safety zone she's created around her. It's time to play hard ball, I'm tired of all the pussy footing--when a child is missing you go straight for the nasty/mean interrogations. I'm tired of the perps having more rights than the victim. Our laws are so skewed and they need to be changed, I'm tired of "polical correctness", it's time to use our laws the way they were meant to be used. A horse thieve would be hung.

PORTLAND -- Investigators believe someone other than Terri Moulton Horman may know what happened to Kyron Horman,
sources told KGW on Saturday.
The sources declined to characterize anyone who has that information,
including when and how the details of the disappearance may have been
passed along. But Terri may not be alone in knowing, the sources said.
In court records released last week, Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, said
that investigators told him that they have probable cause to believe
that Kyron's stepmother Terri was involved in his disappearance.
Sources also told KGW Saturday that investigators have been creating a
detailed timeline of what Terri did the day her stepson disappeared.
While Terri Horman has said she was in certain locations, investigators
have placed her elsewhere using bank card records and cell phone pings,
according to sources.
Investigators know that she left Skyline Elementary School around 9
a.m. on the day her stepson disappeared and returned home about 1 p.m.
But they are trying to fill gaps that opened up from what she told them.
Last week KGW reported that investigators have been using Terri
Horman's cell phone and email records to see who she was in contact
with just before and after the disappearance of Kyron.
The question whether more than one person was involved in Kyron's
disappearance came up last week in interviews with Kaine Horman and
Kyron's mother, Desiree.
Desiree told CNN that she believes that someone in addition to Terri Horman was involved in her son's disappearance
and that Terri did not act alone.
"I don't think so," Desiree said, "Honestly, she didn't take out a contract on her husband alone, so I think she
would need help.
Desiree was making reference to a murder-for-hire plot that came out in restraining order documents made public.
The documents said Terri had tried to convince a landscaper late in 2009 to kill Kaine.
On Thursday, Kaine and Desiree spoke openly and candidly both during
a press conference and in one-on-one interviews with media outlets.
Both said they have come to the conclusion that Terri was capable of harming the seven-year-old.
"When I look in her eyes, I'm not confident that she couldn't do something," Desiree told Kate Snow of NBC's 'Dateline.'
Kaine said "I think anything is possible based on what's gone on in the past few weeks."
Raw video: Parents believe Terri capable of harm
"I've known her a long time," Desiree said, "I know she's lying."
She drove home the point, saying "mothers have instincts and
unfortunately I had feelings about this when I got the phone call,"
about Kyron's disappearance from Skyline grade school on June.

Kaine said that when he learned of a murder-for-hire plot, "I didn't believe it at first."

Kyron Hormon Missing and Endangered: Blink Interview And Open Plea to Terri Horman
Excerpt:
Ms. Horman-
We have not met, but I almost feel I know you from the abundance of kind and loving photos of your family I have seen in our efforts to help locate your step-son Kyron. I am personally not a fan of the word “step” in relation to blended families, especially given how long this wonderful child has been cared for by you in a maternal role.
I know you have been active in reviewing the coverage of Kyron’s case, and I can’t help but feel that it must be horrible and terrifying to not be able to defend yourself against some of the things being said. I am hopeful you feel that you have been treated fairly in our work here.

Kyron's parents not scheduled to speak this week,
noting "heavy law enforcement obligations"
Last Update: 6:47 am
Kyron Horman's parents issued a new statement to the media
Sunday afternoon:
Our focus continues to be fully on the investigation and finding
Kyron. All indications are that law enforcement obligations will be
heavy in the coming week. As a result, we are sorry that we cannot
schedule any media meetings. We really apologize for the change but, as
always, our priority is keeping our energy and available time focused on
the search and both of those things will be in short supply this week.
We will keep you updated immediately on any changes. If any breaking events do
come up we will schedule a Q&A or interview session accordingly.
Thanks for your understanding. We are currently planning on holding
sessions the following week (July 19th and July 22nd) as events
progress. Thank you for everything you have done, Kaine & Desiree
Also Sunday, a man who asked not to be shown on camera, expressed his frustration about the
Kyron Horman tipline.
“Chas” said he has called the tip line twice, but
hadn’t heard back. He was concerned other people’s tips, like his, were
not checked on.
Chas said he saw Terri Horman the day Kyron
mysteriously vanished.
“I was on my way to work, driving down Highway
30,” said “Chas.”
It was Friday, June 4th, sometime between 9:15 and 9:45 in the morning. “Chas” was heading south on
Highway 30, on his way to work when a white truck pulled out onto the
road.
"It came out of one of these side streets, I am not exactly
positive which one, but I am pretty much sure that it was north of Logie
Trail road.”
Logie Trail Road is right across from Sauvie
Island. One of the areas investigators have searched several times.
"I recognize that truck because I have a friend that has a similar truck and I thought it was
him.”
But when “Chas” pulled up next to this truck, he saw that it
wasn't his friend, it was a red-haired woman, he didn't recognize.
He later realized that “red-haired” woman was Terri Horman.
“I didn't really think anything of it, obviously at that time there was no reason to.”
“Chas” said he's been following Kyron's disappearance since day 1, and when police released
the flier asking the public to come forward with any information if they
had seen Terri Horman or the white truck the day Kyron disappeared.
That's when “Chas” remembered back to June 4th and called the tip line.
“The next day, I called again, and gave a little bit more detailed information because in the
back of my mind I was thinking maybe I didn't give enough information."
Now 10 days later, “Chas”
was left feeling a little frustrated.
"How many other people made tips and it's just not getting paid attention to. I don't feel like my
tip is the breaker of the case, or anything like that, but it might be
one piece of the puzzle that should maybe help."
As far as the tipline, Lt. Mary Lindstrand said tips have dropped off a bit. They averaged around 5
to 10 an hour.
And she also said if people who have called the tip line but haven’t heard back, that doesn’t mean they haven’t followed
up on their tips.
Often times Lindstrand said the tips are “duplicates.”

noting "heavy law enforcement obligations"

Kyron Horman Case Sees Surveillance Footage Used to Trace Stepmother's Movements
Stores Confirm They Have Submitted Surveillance Footage for Authorities to Track Terri Moulton Horman's Movements on Day Kyron Horman Disappeared
Exactly where was Terri Moulton Horman on the day Kyron Horman disappeared? The corporate offices of grocery store chains Fred Meyer and Albertsons have confirmed to KATU in Portland that they have cooperated with authorities involved in the investigation of missing Kyron Horman. Albertsons admitted to turning over video surveillance tapes of one of their stores located near Skyline Elementary School, the location from which 7-year-old Kyron Horman supposedly disappeared. Fred Meyer told KATU only that they were cooperating and any further details would have to be obtained through the investigators. According to their sources, authorities are attempting to piece together a timeline for Terri Moulton Horman, the last person known to have seen Kyron Horman on June 4.
It is not known if Kyron Horman might be in the video(s). There has been no indication that he might or might not be.
The Fred Meyer store is located about five miles from the school. Albertsons is located approximately 15 miles away. Police are attempting to figure out where Terri Moulton Horman was and at what time on the day that Kyron Horman disappeared. Video surveillance footage might or might not exonerate Horman, but it could provide added credibility to her account of events.
Terri Moulton Horman, even though much of the investigation seems to be focusing on her, has not been charged, nor has she been named as a person of interest or a suspect in the disappearance of her stepson.
Kyron Horman vanished sometime around 9 a.m. on June 4. According to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, Terri Moulton Horman told them she arrived with the 7-year-old at around 8 a.m. at Skyline Elementary School in Portland to look at displays at a science fair in which Kyron was participating. She maintains she last saw the second-grader after waving to him and watching him walk toward his classroom at 8:45 a.m. At 9 a.m., Kyron's teacher marked him absent when he didn't report for class.
When Kyron Horman didn't get off the bus, Terri Moulton Horman and Kyron's father, Kaine, contacted the school and only then found out that the boy had not been in class all day. Police were notified and a massive search operation began that would stretch for nine days and involve the FBI and multiple intra- and interstate law enforcement agencies as well as search and rescue organizations. Major search operations were curtailed on June June 13 and Multnomah County officials announced that the investigation had switched its focus to a criminal probe.
Although suspicion centered on Terri Moulton Horman almost from the very beginning, the investigation seemed to shift toward a more intense scrutiny of the stepmother when the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office issued a flier containing the images of the stepmother and her vehicle, a white Ford F250 truck. The fliers were circulated with a questionnaire asking if those present at the science fair had seen her, the truck, or Kyron Horman on that day at the school.
But even though a circumstantial case seems to have been growing stronger and the other parents (Kaine Horman, Desiree Young -- Kyron's biological mother -- and Tony Young) have repeatedly pleaded with Terri Moulton Horman to "fully cooperate" with police, there seems to not be much more for authorities to go on -- therefore, no criminal charges.
"You have to be able to identify specifically what crime you're going to charge," former Multnomah County prosecutor Jim McIntyre told KATU. "You can't simply say, 'you're under arrest because everyone thinks you did something.' I mean, you have to have evidence, more likely than not, that you committed a specific crime."
In addition to suspicion that she may have been involved in her stepson's disappearance, Terri Moulton Horman has also been accused of being involved in a murder-for-hire plot against her husband, Kaine. He moved out of their home after Multnomah County authorities apprised him of the allegations and almost immediately filed for divorce and a restraining order, the latter being subsequently granted. In the petition for a restraining order, Kaine Horman said that he believed, in light of what the Multnomah County authorities told him, that his wife was involved in the disappearance of his son.
